This is what you will do most of the time:
Service Development is part of Digital Experience & Future Technology. Our mission is to develop digital products and services that enable business growth for our customers. As head of Service Development, you will lead the development team (approximately 25-30 people) and create a tip-of-the-spear organization for digital products.
You will be responsible for the product development, related ways of working, and delivery methods. Your primary responsibility will consist of securing project deliveries in terms of timing and quality and even further foster a culture of knowledge sharing, can-do attitude, and team spirit. You will also be responsible for the department budget, resource planning, and team composition. The team consists of traditional software roles, such as Product Owners, Software Developers/Testers, Machine Learning Engineers, Software Architects, and DevOps Engineers.
As part of a Global team, you will be in regular contact with our counterparts in China.
The digital products delivered by your team will support ZEEKR current and future business, targeting private cars as well as future Mobility services.
You will be working in close collaboration with the Head of the Digital Experience and Future Technology, and the leaders for Product Governance, User Experience, and Innovation.
As Head of Service Development, you will report to the Head of the Digital Experience and Future Technology, a member of the CEVT Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing department budget and resources
- Oversee digital product maturity, delivery, and quality
- Facilitate technology and methodology decisions for digital products
- Drive and implement strategic directives for digital products
- Attract, nurture and mentor top talents
- Build relationships with counterparts in China and the market companies
- Provide and support executive management with valuable insights in your field of expertise
- Provide input to product roadmaps, technology roadmaps and make by analysis
You have probably done something like this:
- We are convinced that you have had experience in leading SW teams for at least 5 years, and in the recent 5 years, you have also been responsible for leading managers.
- Proven experience of working with agile software development methods & practices
- Demonstrated experience in consumer application development
- Successfully collaborated with third party service providers
- Proven experience of working with counterparts in China is an advantage
- Experience from the infotainment area, specifically related to Connectivity, telematic, IoT, automotive or tech industry is an advantage
- Previous Project Management/Business Management experience is beneficial
