We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Treasury Manager to join us in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Senior Treasury Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the treasury process and methods for the company, as well as supervising the treasury operations process, managing banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and financial risk management. The Senior Treasury Manager will report directly to the CFO and will be an integral part of the company's management team.

This is what you will do most of the time:

• Design and implement the essential process and methods for treasury purposes, identify opportunities to enhance the process, and estimate efficiency
• Manage banking relationships and bank account management, including establishing banking relationships, arranging funds for working capital requirements, and setting up and maintaining company bank accounts
• Manage the end-to-end process of each financial instrument, including the evaluation and implementation of new financial instruments
• Consolidate short-term and long-term cash flow forecast, track major deviations for cash flow forecast versus actual
• Supervise and lead treasury operation process, ensuring confirmations, settlements, and contract administration of financial transactions are implemented and operated in accordance with local statutory/banking regulations
• Set up policies and procedures relating to currency exposure, hedging exchange rate and interest rate risks, and monitoring trends in international business and economic changes
• Ensure adherence and compliance to internal controls and company guidelines, including collaborating with shared service center to ensure operational efficiencies and effectiveness
• Manage the treasury team and develop the team members

We believe that you have:

• A University degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Treasury, Accounting or Business; Master's degree preferred
• Supervisory and management experience in corporate treasury, shared service centers, or middle/back office in financial institutions or corporates
• Knowledge of financial/ treasury instruments and products, compliance and internal controls (regulatory or corporate)
• A solid understanding of treasury related operation processes and the respective system
• Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills in spoken and written English
• Strong analytical skills that allow you to observe, research and interpret to develop complex ideas and solutions
• A great capability for problem solving where you quickly get to the root of the problem as well as can use acquired knowledge and experience in new ways
• Outstanding project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
• The ability to adapt to a multicultural working environment and proactive work attitude and result-driven
• Good presentation and negotiation skills
