We are starting a new team and need a Head of Business Development. We think it could be you.

Do you like to think big? Big in creating mobility solutions that are entirely new? Are you passionate about creating more value for your customers and team? We are looking for a leader to join us in our work to shape and sell the next generation of mobility by building a new Business Development Team.

The key deliverables of the Business Development Team are:

  • Business development includes developing relationships and contracts with existing or new customers, within or outside the Geely Group.
  • Create and develop a good understanding of the global mobility market and a segmentation of possible customers and strategic partners
  • Regularly identify customers and partners core business preferences and needs (at individual and segment levels) – identify possible business models with each customer and partners
  • In close collaboration with the Product Strategy team, the Product definition team, the Program Management Organization and the R&D teams:
    • Define business opportunities and business models to be applied
    • Package an attractive offering, covering physical and digital products
    • Develop the prioritization of the offering
  • In close collaboration with the legal and finance departments, the EU center as well as with other necessary functions:
    • Establish revenue streams based on customers and partners, within and outside the Geely Group
    • Plan continuous development of new features and maintenance needs  
    • Improve customer and partner relationship

Responsibilities and Tasks of the Head of the Business Development Team:

  • Build, lead and structure a strong Team to efficiently secure the key deliverables mentioned above
  • Prepare reporting/decision documents for management meetings
  • Build, develop and long-term secure competence within mobility business necessary for the team
  • Have the employee responsible for direct reports including recruitment, performance and competence development. Provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development
  • Set and follow up KPI and targets for the department

We think that you have:

  • Academic degree in Economics and/or Business Development and/or Technology Development
  • 3+ years experience from new business development functions within the mobility industry and/or SW/high tech industry and/or automotive industry
  • Strategic capability – ability to identify and pursue areas for business development
  • Broad interest and/or experience in the connection technology/business development/market development

 We think that you are:

  • An experienced and dynamic leader with the ability to create confidence and inspiration
  • A good negotiator with great communication skills, orally as well as in writing
