  • You will be part of the CEVT PhD program as well as a part of an industrial development towards electric mobility.
  • You will be registered as PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology.
  • Your main interest is the control of complex physical systems.
  • Your background is probably Master of Science within Mechanical engineering or Engineering physics, added with 2 - 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience of thermodynamics in vehicles is an advantage.
  • You will be able to dedicate yourself fully to further studies and research.

As our Industrial PhD student you will play an important part in the future of the Geely Group. You will join a team that are dedicated to design, innovation and technology.

As our Industrial PhD Student you will be based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg.

This is what you will do most of the time:

  • Study for further theoretical knowledge to be able to reach a doctoral degree.
  • Perform a research project with supervision from Academy as well as Industry.
  • Document your work by publications in conferences and journals.
  • Gain further insights by interacting with your CEVT team as well as your department at Chalmers.
  • Move deeper into advanced control of vehicle thermal systems.
  • Prepare yourself for a future as an industrial expert!
