We secure direct & indirect sourcing into the core deliveries in the projects. We utilize the Geely global supplier base in our projects and deliver the best products and resources at the best cost, quality and time with the interest of CEVT core business. Optimize Purchasing process towards the CEVT needs. ​We work continuously with internal and external customers with an aim to secure the right supplier selection. We are made up by two teams:

Indirect Purchasing 

We are a team of dedicated people, that manages approximately 1300 suppliers, seventy commodities and various Geely companies. Traditionally Indirect Purchasing refers to purchases of goods and services that are not directly incorporated into a product being manufactured. However - in CEVT - we are also covering the procurement of pre-series parts and other test parts to be delivered outside of China. This means that Indirect Purchasing at CEVT is responsible for sourcing everything from office supplies, IT hardware, test services and software licenses to conferences, rapid prototype parts and consultant services.

Purchasing Program Management

We support CEVT projects with reporting and follow-up of all purchasing deliverables, we are responsible for getting the suppliers nominated and we work closely together with Geely Purchasing to make the project successful. The Liaison part of the job handles the support of all purchasing issues between CEVT R&D line organization and Geely. Our focus is on the business side and our key to success is to work with "Design for Profitability" where our team takes the lead.
