What do we do?

The responsibilities of our department range over a broad spectrum and have crucial effects on the architecture development of CEVT's technology. We are divided into two main units: Platform Architecture and Platform Implementation.

Platform Architecture

The focus of our department is not to develop and release components for the vehicle. Our focus is to make sure that all other departments have the technical prerequisites to be able to develop high-tech and unique functions and features for both on-board and off-board applications. Our deep knowledge of how and why the software works both in the vehicle and in the cloud enables us to be the spider in the web. This, combined with our expertise in functional safety and cybersecurity, makes us unique. We are organized into four teams: Computing Architecture, Cloud & Data Architecture, Secure Platform and Software Integration & Release, All in all, we are about 100 people.

Platform Implementation

The focus of our department is to develop and release components for the platform, Top-Hat customers, and perform the relevant verification of the systems and components involved. For verification, we have a highly skilled team doing vehicle verification, but also an outstanding team managing HIL-rig verification and keeping the HIL rigs updated to always support quick and agile development of the Electrical system, the components, and their interfaces towards the vehicle HW. We are organized into five teams; ECU Development Body EE, ECU Development Comfort/SRS, ECU Development Infotainment & Connectivity, HW Integration & Attribute and Electric & SW Validation.

  • For me, the best thing about working at CEVT is my colleagues and the feeling that anything is possible. I am both an engineer and a manager. But I don’t think that I fall into the stereotype of either. I like working at CEVT and the opportunities that can be found here. To actively listen and discover sides that the employees might not be aware of themselves and watch them grow. That is the fun part of my job.
